Description
A Group Financial Accountant is required for a well-known FTSE100 organisation based Berkshire for a six month interim assignment.
The successful Group Financial Accountant will be a critical member of the team for the group's statutory half-year and year-end reporting cycle, under IFRS & UK GAAP for the consolidated accounts. Key responsibilities include posting consolidation journals, reviewing & validating reporting packs that have been submitted by subsidiary entities and providing financial support to the wider business such as the Treasury, Group Tax team and Group Performance Management team. Furthermore, you should be ready to capitalise on your accounting knowledge in order Identify and propose improvements for existing accounting processes.
In order to be considered for this role you should be a qualified accounting professional (ACCA, CIMA or ACA) with an interrogative mindset to work and understand the numbers. You should also be a good communicator with strong stakeholder management skills in order to work cohesively with various individuals involved with the business.
