SAP Master Data Consultant - 6-9 months - Excellent Daily rate Applicable for the right candidate
Summary
Scope of responsibility:
Supporting the Project Team Leader during the implementation of cross functional SAP projects, on time and with minimal business disruption by:
- Aligning with project manager to ensure Master Data migration activities are documented on the project plan for both design/build and cutover phases of the project
- Working with analysts across ERP, CRM and BI technologies to ensure master data migration deliverables are clearly assigned to owners and progress monitored as per project plan timelines
- Schedule meetings between IT analysts and business team members to progress discussions on Master Data loading files
- Ensure analysts have progressed technical specifications where required with ABAP resource and monitor their progress on testing of new programs (as per project timelines)
- Monitor and check audit requirements are being met by team throughout the course of the project
- Provide direction to business (meetings, emails) with support from relevant analysts where master data migration activities are owned and executed by the business
- Support project lead to ensure detailed plan in place and executed to have master data in place during key phases of project eg testing and cutover
- Work remotely with members of Business and IT project Team where relevant
- Provide post go-live support to key users
Business & Technical Experience & Skills
- The successful candidate will be highly motivated, have excellent verbal and written communication skills and should have project management experience in coordinating master data activities. He or she must possess the ability to work within a team environment (and with remote teams). The candidate should have a strong customer focus.
- Minimum 5 years in depth experience in:
o ERP Order Management
o ERP Master Data
o Customers
o Customer Hierarchy
o Materials
o Listings
o Material Determination
o Outputs
- Familiar with concepts of data loading tools such as LSMW
- Completed at least four full life cycle implementations within SAP ERP, with a focus on Cutover Activities
- Proven project management skills as a Master Data coordinator on at least 2 previous projects.
- Experience in SAP Agile methodology and ability to ensure audit documentation requirements are delivered by analysts working on data migration activities as per project timeline
- Cross functional experience in following areas an advantage;
o BI Reporting
o CRM Trade Promotion Management
o CRM Territory Management
- Strong business process knowledge/experience in Customer Service & Logistics & Commercial Planning preferably within FMCG industry
- Ability to work remotely with key users across Europe
- Fluent in spoken and written English
- Strong Diagnostic and Analysis Skills.
