Role: Infrastructure AnalystDuration: 6 months
Day Rate: Negotiable
Location: North County Dublin
A global manufacturing conglomerate is actively looking to secure an experienced Infrastructure Analyst to join their growing team. An initial 6 month contract is on offer but there is real scope for an extension as they have a high volume of projects for the remainder of 2015.
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for successfully leading and executing the divestiture activity from an IT Infrastructure perspective.
- Work closely with the IT Security Director to ensure the transition activities are performed in accordance with Security best practices.
- Responsible for Communications on this Divestiture initiative to senior stakeholders and IT Teams from a technology perspective.
- Knowledge and experience of infrastructure technology solution design
- including Active Directory, Exchange Email, Virtualisation technologies and Networks.
- Work with management and IT teams at all levels to propose, build and implement the necessary technology solutions to support this initiative.
- Experience with complying with SOX ITGC and ITIL Processes appropriately to support this initiative.
- Ensuring that the service to the clients customers is uninterrupted during this project.
- Maintain and develop relationships with Stakeholders across the EMEA Region to ensure this initiative is delivered to a high standard and in a cost effective manner.
- Ensure resource time is scheduled, tracked and budgeted for correctly.
- Contribute to additional IT Projects when required.
- Work with offshore and near-shore resources.
- Excellent problem diagnosis and resolution management skills, requiring initiative and collaboration with external vendors.
Requirements:
- Active Directory - Specifically domain migrations, creating subdomainsand related activities.
- DELL/ INTEL Servers, Windows WindowsXP, MSOffice, Cisco LAN, WLAN, WAN, SAN, Cisco IP and mobile telephony.
- VMWare vSphere 5.1.
- Altiris Asset Management and Software License compliance.
- Security and ITGC Principles (ISO 27001/SOX).
- Risk Management.
- Workflows and process mapping.
- Jira and Nagios experiece a distinct advantage.
- Monitoring systems.
- Collaboration tools - Exchange and Lync.
- Project Management Skills.
- ITIL Processes.
