Huxley Engineering are Specialist Recruiters with the Power Generation Sector in the UK.A key client has recently requested Huxley Engineering to recruit a Site Engineer on a new build Wind farm project based in the North East of England. This is a long term contract that will be 12 Month with the chance of an extension. The client has also stated there is a high chance at the end of the project the Engineer could stay on with the company. The company is a well established name in UK Civil Engineering working on a vast number of onshore Wind farm projects.
The Client has requested that the Site Engineer has worked on Wind farm Projects in the past or has experience in similar Civil engineering projects such as CCGT, Energy from Waste Or biomass. The Client has stated if the Engineer has not had experience in this they must be educated to Degree level.
It would be beneficial if the ideal candidate has-
MEng/BEng/HNC/HND or equivalent in Civil Engineering.
* You will have a strong interest and natural aptitude in civil and/or infrastructure engineering.
* Good interpersonal skills and a particular focus towards project delivery with a determination to deliver high quality on time and within budget is a must, along with a working knowledge of latest industry software
* The Candidate must be a hard working individual all rounded who is willing to get involved with all aspects of the project
