Description

Due to our client's continued developments we have an opportunity for an Electrical Estimator to join our clients Enterprise contracting teams based in Ireland to develop and deliver effective and competitive quotations for new electrical contracting requests.

Electrical Estimator:

This role will involve establishing and maintaining positive relationships with clients, with the aim of sourcing profitable electrical building services projects, for which you will prepare accurate estimates and tender documentation, enabling the business to secure profitable contract work. You will be responsible for evaluating bid opportunities and working within project deadlines and therefore must have a good understanding of technical drawings with the ability to take off quantities as well as experience of preparing cost sheets, comprehensive bid submission packs and Schedules of Rates as well as recognising the importance of discretion and assessing levels of risk at all times.

Electrical Estimator Essential:

You will hold a minimum of HNC in Electrical Building Services or an Engineering qualification in Electrical Services and have undertaken an Electrical Craft Apprenticeship. Be able to demonstrate the ability to work in an organised, accurate and methodical manner. Excellent communication skills are vital as is the ability to work well as part of a team as well as individually. You should also have strong IT skills, including use of estimating software, (such as Amtech Estimation, or similar), and use of electronic portals for bid submissions.

Estimation experience within High Voltage Installation and Maintenance works is not essential but would be advantageous.
