Wintel Engineer - Contract - Asset Management (SCCM, SCOM, Active Directory, Windows server R, ITIL)A Wintel Engineer is required working for an international asset management firm based in the heart of central London. This position has come available due to a heavy increase in current workload for the team and a requirement to bring on an additional hire. You will be joining a 2nd and 3rd line team providing technical support for both internal and external users across all areas of the business.
What the role will entail:
The Wintel Engineer will have in depth experience and knowledge of full ITIL processes including incident, Change configuration and Problem management. As the experienced Wintel Engineer you be able to identify problems in the current servers and be able to provide and implement solutions to any problems that have been identified. You will also have experience with the following tools; Telephony, Microsoft Windows/Active Directory, Windows server R , Hyper - V, Microsoft Data Protection Manager (DPM), Microsoft System Centre ( SCCM and SCOM) and Exchange Administration 2010.
As the Wintel Engineer you will also be responsible for taking full ownership for any incidents and requests that are made of the team. You will also have excellent communication skills to liaise with the business and system users on a day to day basis.
