Description

A Finance Manager is required for a six month interim assignment working for a large blue chip organisation based in Berkshire.

The successful candidate will provide decision support to senior managers and business teams, whilst acting as a lead point of contact to external auditors. You should be ready and willing to support the business with restructuring and forward thinking to enhance wider technical understanding of future requirements, from an insurance accounting perspective. Key responsibilities for the role holder will include monthly management accounting, forecasting and budgeting. The ability to capitalise on previous accounting experience is also necessary in order to effectively implement SAP streamlining and enhance the entity reporting processes.

The successful finance manager will be degree educated and a qualified accountant (ACCA, ACA or CIMA) with experience in the insurance industry being imperative. Great communication and stakeholder management skills are desired in order to influence senior management. The successful candidate should also have extensive knowledge working under UK GAAP and IFRS.
