Configuration Management Engineer - Standard 05-57, Change, Configuration Management
A Configuration Management Engineer with Standard 05-57 and Change and Configuration Mangement experience is required to work on a six month contract with the possibility extension for our Defence client based in Telford.
This is a 6 month contract with a leading UK defence business.
Overview of the Configuration Management Engineer contract role
The role performed shall include the execution of configuration techniques for the allocated projects, this includes, but is not limited to:
- Development and Management of Configuration plans.
- Control and Development of Vehicle Build Standards.
- Customer reviews on configuration control.
Key skills required for the Configuration Management Engineer
- Experience in configuration management and its principles.
- An understanding of Defence Standard 05-57 Configuration Management
- The candidate will ideally have the following qualifications:-
- Formal training or experience in configuration management.
- Ability to interact at all levels with core engineering specialists
The role is based in Telford, Shropshire - commutable from Shrewsbury, Bridgnorth, Stourbridge, Wolverhampton, Walsall, Lichfield, Cannock, Stafford, Market Drayton, Whitchurch and Oswestry.
