KYC Support: Global Energy Trading Compan
World Leading Global Energy Trading Company has an exciting opportunity for an intelligent and pro-active individual to support the KYC function in a fast-paced environment.
There is scope for this role to become permanent and would therefore suit someone looking for a successful career in compliance. This is an excellent role to build the foundations and develop the necessary skills to succeed in KYC.
Responsibilities:
- Analysing and checking documentation/data.
- Carrying out investigative work
- Manage the KYC Team inbox
- Data inputting from our MDN system into the database
- Focal point in KYC team for MDN
- Handle generic queries from stakeholders (traders, master data team, MDN focal points)
- Order bespoke reports for high risk counterparties upon request
- Execute basic sanction checks on vessels
- Process the monthly Infospectrum invoicing
- Manage the reverse KYC process
- Assist in the chasing process for information on counterparties
- Adhoc scanning
About You:
- Developing a career in compliance
- Attention to detail is critical
- Enjoy working under pressure and in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of KYC would be beneficial but not essential.
- The ability to be flexible and adaptable
- The ability to bring a desirable skill set to the table
This needs combining with a positive attitude and an ability to work within a large, globally dispersed project team in a multi-cultural environment. You also need to be a self-starter, a logical thinker and a quick learner, with strong initiative and excellent communication, interpersonal and presentation skills, able to write clearly and concisely.
