SYSTEM CENTER SERVICE MANAGER - SYSTEM CENTER, ORCHESTRATOR, SCSM -IMMEDIATE START
I am currently working with a client who is looking to bring on a Systems Centre Service Manager and a System Centre Orchestrator at expert level.

This is an exciting opportunity for you to work as a Systems Centre Service Manager/Orchestrator for one of their insurance clients who are in the midst of a large data migration amongst other projects.
ESSENTIALS SKILLS:

The requirement for Systems Centre Service Manager is fairly extensive and will require someone with excellent skills in both System Centre Service Manager 2012 and System Centre Orchestrator 2012.
SCOPE OF WORK:
  • To configure new starter and leaver processes and workflows and reporting (Dashboard) on these


- starter process would be when someone joins ERS and they get an ID for logon, a laptop/desktop, a phone, an ID card - this would all have to be in a workflow with automation where possible and authorisation where required

-A leaver process would be the inverse - notifying the manager of the person leaving what is expected back from the leaver and ultimately disabling or deleting their logon account

-Reporting on all of this via a dashboard so that users and administrators can see the progress of starter or leaver requests. This should cut down on service desk calls for progress updates
  • To configure the automation for self-service and request fulfilment


-Users should be able to request software and possibly other services such as new computers or phones via a self-service method, with authorisation where required

-Reporting on the progress of these requests is key to again reduce service desk calls for progress updates
  • To configure hardware and software asset management


-Using a product integrated with System Centre named Saracen

-Manage all aspects of hardware and software delivery, licensing, procurement requests

-Reporting available for users and administrators

Setup of run books to alert of any discrepancies - this is a general requirement

Integrate their current Remedy service desk with Service Manager

Financial experience would be advantageous but not essential for this role.
