The Client
Green Park are proud to be assisting a joint venture between a sizeable global retailer and a renown private equity house who will be launching a new retail proposition.
As a result of this JV, we will be requiring a Finance Director/CFO responsible for the new retail proposition covering Cradle to grave.
The Interim Assignment
This will be the number one finance role where you will be solely responsible for creation of the finance function including streamlining all systems, processes, efficiencies and procedures.
This role will be a pivotal appointment holding responsibility for driving strategy and implementation of road map whilst expected to take ownership of the technical accounting for the first three to six months.
As this will be the creation of a new retail proposition including new store network, you must have been a proven Finance Director ideally covering both small store networks (circa 40 to - 100 stores) as well as larger mid cap store networks ). Prior private equity exposure within a retail environment will also be required.
The Interim Candidate
The role would suit a well-rounded/experienced Finance Director/CFO from an established high street retail, ideally who has previously taken a retailer through turnaround, rapid growths or IPO with a private equity house previously.
The location for the JV head office is still yet to be decided, we are considering either London, Leeds or Manchester.
