An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Quality Assurance Operation Manager to join a successful and growing Pharmaceutical team in Surrey. You will assist to implement, maintain, and assist in the development of the Quality Management System (QMS).

Basic Salary is £40,000

As part of the QA team you will interpret and implement the Quality Management Systems (QMS) requirements effectively, paying regards to customer expectations, GXP and regulatory compliance.

Key duties and responsibilities:
  • Ensure the safety of product and service provided is not compromised by implementing systems to maintain product integrity throughout the supply chain.
  • Management of the internal, external (customers and regulatory bodies) and supplier (3rd party) audit programs.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement by formulating reports trending and collecting for analysis and internal audits.
  • Routine reporting of key performance indicators associated with quality systems
  • As required, contribute to the delivery of QA projects.


The position is very important, as the Operation Manager will ensure assigned tasks are performed in a timely manner to meet batch disposition, supply chain and all associated international GMP/GDP requirements.

Job Requirements:
  • Life science degree or equivalent
  • Quality Assurance experience in a regulated (GMP/GDP) industry demonstrating a solution driven approach.
  • Experience of internal and external auditing
  • Experience of MHRA inspections
  • Knowledge of unlicensed medicines (Specials)
  • Able to demonstrate good planning and organization skills
  • Quality and process orientation and mindset
  • Possession of good verbal and written communication skills
