Responsibilities
- Identify and explore fixed access network sales opportunities with tier-2 carriers and cable operators across Germany
- Actively promote the complete fixed access network product portfolio in the form of technical workshops, product presentations and technical discussions with customers
- Understand the customer’s requirements and formulate solutions, covering all aspects related to network design and implementation
- Act as the technical interface with customers and develop strong relationships
- Formulate technical and commercial responses to RFI, RFP and RFQ
Qualifications
- 5+ years of recent professional experience in a major ICT or telecommunications vendor or operator
- In depth knowledge of optical transport networking technologies and architectures
- Ability to work with technologies from adjacent areas like IP/MPLS and fixed access networks
- Excellent presentation and communication skills
- Proven pre-sales support skills
- Fluent German and English languages (Native is preferred)
- Flexibility to travel up to 50% within Europe
