Our banking client is currently in the market for KYC Analysts to assist with a remediation project. The roles are to review a caseload of client files, checking for gaps in information and carrying out further investigation into high risk files. Other duties will include: reviewing customer account data to ensure information is complete and accurate; reviewing changes in the source of funds and capital; verifying the client listing with the regulator and monitoring customer financial statements and shareholder changes.
The successful candidate will also be responsible for summarising and rationalising the findings of key high risk clients and documenting the rationale for continuing business. This is a very important element of this role and will require the candidate to possess the confidence to make critical independent decisions.
To be considered for this role you must have previous KYC experience which will include due diligence on high risk clients and PEPs. You will ideally have some experience of working within a financial services organisation and will have good knowledge of sanctions, embargos and JMLSG guidance notes.
* Overview of all their Private Client portfolios
* Remediation of Financial Institutions and due diligence
* Perform Know Your Client (KYC) due diligence as part of a global project to standardise client
documentation across various divisions.
* Collect due diligence information from internal Departments, clients and through external research in line with the Bank`s Anti-Money Laundering (AML) policy.
* Identify risk factors and escalate to the AML Management where necessary.
* Knowledge of UK and global financial regulations essential for various entity types. The focus is on financial institutions as well as trusts, funds, private companies, listed/regulated entities and governments across a variety of risk levels.
* Ability to complete large volumes of client files to a great quality.
* This is a 3 month temporary role that the client is willing to pay a competitive rate dependent on experience.
