Description
My client is currently looking for a Senior Infrastructure Security Specialist to be the Subject matter expert in security infrastructure and applications, providing high level technical designs, guidance and approval for Changes generated by projects and support activities relating to the Security Infrastructure landscape.
Key Accountabilities
- Operational security support (BAU) for the my clients platforms and technologies (Incident/Problem/Service Request)
- Responsible for undertaking security compliance monitoring and system reviews on new and current systems
- Ownership of Infrastructure Security Management processes across the ex- environment.
- Infrastructure Security review and approval for all Projects/Changes within the ex- environment
- Develop infrastructure security policies, standards, guidelines, processes based on Group standards and general best practice
- Initiate and undertake product evaluations of new security related technologies/products
Skills and Experience Required:
- Solid experience of supporting and implementing Infrastructure Security toolsets and applications (LCE, Websense, TripWire (important), Trend AV, etc).
- 5 - 7 years relevant IT. experience, including at least 2 years specific experience in a security based role
- Understanding of project life cycle methodologies.
- Practical experience with Security methodologies and compliance standards (IFC, PCI)
- Ability to produce or input in to strategic designs.
- Ability to compare business, commercial and technical requirements and make appropriate recommendations
- Strategic understanding of a broad range of technologies
- Ability to communicate ideas & solutions to audiences of all levels and nationalities, adapting style accordingly.
- Ability to lead the development of IT. solutions.
- Ability to liaise with 3rd party suppliers.
- Ability to work as part of a global organisation/structure
