I am working with an Acute Trust in the West Midlands who have asked me to secure short term support (12 weeks) from an Interim with an extensive background focused on Patient Safety and Incident Management who can hit the ground running
The ideal candidate will have worked in an Acute Trust before and be used to working within a Divisional Structure
The primary focus of your role will be to co-ordinate the Trust's response to SUI/SIs
You will also advise directors, senior managers and clinicians in identifying and managing all aspects of risk within the organisation and of course you will support senior clinicians and managers in the investigation of incidents
You will share learning and monitor the progress of action plans.
To be successful you will need to be confident in analysing qualitative and quantitative information and using the information to report to the Board, sub-committees and services as part of the governance framework
This organisation currently has a significant backlog of incidents so it is essential that you can hit the ground running and co-ordinate a small team to ensure theSTEIS andDatix are up to date
