I am currently recruiting as the sole agency for one of my primary Clients a CCG based in the West Midlands

The Director of Nursing has asked me to secure the services of an Interim to cover the vacant DASM post within the current structure.

Due to the provisions made in the Social Care Act this post is a mandatory requirement for CCGs and as such the organisation are keen to secure the services of an experienced, enthusiastic, dynamic, motivated individual who will support the leadership of the safeguarding adults agenda across this health economy.

The successful post holder will be required to have their own transport and will provide provide expert clinical knowledge in all issues relating to the care of vulnerable adults.

The post holder will have the responsibility to provide strong professional leadership to assess current arrangements, and inform the strategic direction for safeguarding adults; and by working with commissioned services will ensure that providers have in place the strategies and plans to safeguard vulnerable people and are fulfilling their responsibilities in line with the contract and national legislation and guidance.
