Description
Summary- This position will require planning and installation/upgrade of systems and includes third party equipment.
- As needed, problem solving on site of system related and customer related issues will be necessary.
- Troubleshooting, debugging of system equipment, computer systems and/or upgrading downgrading systems software.
- Coordinate problem solving efforts between the Customer, Product Support, Customer Program Managers, Project Management and other internal departments.
- Working with Project Management, CPM and support on planning initiatives for upcoming projects, this position requires attention to details regarding documentation.
- Including validation of procedures on lab systems, creating and updating documentation for deployment diagrams, rack elevations, system inventories and configuration documents.
- Maintaining/installing modular system to customer base, conditional access, database, IP structured equipment
Required Skills:
- Service experience in a technical field is required with hands on technical experience in field installations.
- Knowledge of computer systems and networking skills.
- Demonstrated ability to ensure customer satisfaction and maintain good working relationships with customers through technical expertise.
- Demonstrated ability to learn and apply existing and new product functions, features and usage to apply with installations and upgrades.
- Demonstrated ability to learn and apply troubleshooting methodologies and new technologies (Company and third-party equipment).
- Demonstrated ability to develop and document correctly and complete systems installations and upgrades.
- Demonstrated ability to provide operation/maintenance instruction to customer personnel with systems equipment.
- Excellent verbal and written communication is required.
- Video/Audio/Data transmissions systems knowledge.
- Satellite transmission systems knowledge.
- Spanish Speaking Huge Plus
