Management Accountant -£ a dayAn exciting new opportunity for a Management Accountant has arisen to join a leading Bank based in London. This role is available for an immediate start for a 3 month rolling contract with longer term opportunities.

Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in complete production of the Revenue Reporting and Analysis process. Reviewing revenue streams against forecast and plan, ensuring revenue balances are reasonably and correctly booked and all appropriate accounting and revenue recognition procedures are adhered to
- Assist in oversight of the standard monthly financial closing process, analysing and reviewing revenue compared to plan and forecast
- Assisting the Controller with development and production of Metrics, Profitability and continued enhancement/ development of management information
- Completion of commentary for all revenue and expenses reporting, providing high level results analysis against plan and forecast for month, quarter and full year.
- New business reporting if any
- Production of Key Financial Driver and Revenue Ladders
- Co-ordination, preparation and control of SOX documentation and various SOX
Reporting requirements
- Support for a wide range of Decision Support activities such as analysis, the fulfilment of ad hoc requests, and special project activities.
- Performs moderately complex accruals and actual fee sharing
Minimum Education: Bachelor degree, preferably in Accounting; or equivalent work experience. Minimum Experience: 3+ years demonstrated ability to perform basic accounting processes with moderate supervision and with relevant work experience in accounting or finance. Preferred Experience: 1-2 years of public accounting experience in financial services preferred. 2-3 years of experience working management analysis role. Experience with accounting applications such as PeopleSoft. Strong written and oral communications skills in English.
