Amoria Bond are currently looking for another Power Electronics Engineer for a 12month contract based in the West Midlands.
Our client is a large defence organisation who design and manufacture electronic equipment including power equipment and control systems. This latest project is to produce Electronic systems for an defence client and requires significant design work to be carried out.
The successful Power Electronics Engineers will have experience in:
- The field of power electronics
- Working with IGBT's and MOSFET'S
- A proven track record of product design and test in a relevant environment.
- Broad knowledge of other areas of engineering (eg systems, mechanical, motors, etc)
The successful Power Electronics Engineer will be working on high profile projects, primarily working with power converters and inverters. As a result it is necessary to have skills and experience in the field of power electronics as well as broad knowledge of other areas of engineering.
Summary of skills required:
- Practical experience of Power Electronics
- Good customer facing skills
- Knowledge of the aerospace or defence industry would be preferred
