We’re looking to find someone who shares our excitement for online education (who has perhaps taken a few online courses themselves), and who relishes the prospect of mastering Learning Management Systems (e.g. LearnDash) to make the best user/learner-experience possible.
Having been a project manager for the past seven years, I know the importance of development.
A developer is the backbone of an online company, and relied on more than anyone. Without the right developer, the rest of the team can’t function.
We need someone who is humble, dependable, and who almost never says, ‘I don’t think that can be done’.
The right fit for us is someone who is already very good, but who wants to learn and is hungry to become a pro.
You need to be able to get to grips with new software and tools you’ve never previously used in a pinch.
You also have to be a developer who gets design. Aesthetics are extremely important to us, and we make beautiful stuff.
You need to be someone who…
- Likes a big workload is comfortable working quickly. We get a lot done in a day and you will be pushed
- Welcomes revisions and will embrace our perfectionist tendencies
- Can help us establish clear technical processes
- Be a clear and capable communicator. As a company we take writing seriously. (Great English and attention to detail are essential.)
- We love working with. Fit comes first, above everything else for us.
Nearly all of our communication is written (we use Basecamp 3 and are big fans of it), but we’d like you to be comfortable getting on the occasional call too.
The position will start at 25 hours per week. We aim to have you working with us full-time by August.
Being based in Europe would be preferable because of time-zone, but applicants from all over the world are welcome.
