Field Engineer My client is currently seeking an Area Team Engineer to join their team in the UK, the team specialise in commissioning of 2G and 3G Ran Elements.You will need to ensure all the work is delivered and utilise the best practice and ensure the highest possible quality if service.To be considered for this role you must have "Working at Heights / Rooftop Worker certification”Responsibilities:* Evaluate and carry out commissioning work * Complete any outstanding installation work, to include coaxial cable termination* Carryout acceptance and commissioning activities on Ericsson's 2G and 3G and potentially ALU 3G network elements* Carryout network expansions on both 2G and 3G network elements * Engage with third parties to resolve issues.* Work as part of a team* Self motivated* Adherence to commissioning processes* Be able to work remotely and in co-operation with office based staff* Be able to work in a safety conscious manner and to agreed H&S procedures* Support of Field Team duties as required* Delivering planned work network enhancements in line with SLA’s and KPI’s, Performance reportingTo ensure you are able to deliver this role you will need to have the following skills and experience:* Strong experience and knowledge of Base Stations including configurations* Understanding of Mobile Operations and the mobile/radio networks* Experience with 2G and 3G technologies* Understanding of Alcatel 3G RAN* Mobile Network Commissioning experience* Ability to manage services offered to customer’s* Experienced technically with Transmission test equipment, Spectrum analysers and TEMS* Experienced with New Builds* Good understanding of radio environment
