The position
We are looking for a talented and passionate copywriter with clear communication skills who can translate business needs into customer-focused messaging. They will work in a responsive, flexible and collaborative work environment and play a fundamental role in the user communication strategy for products, marketing and cross-device initiatives. They will work both independently and as member of a creative team, collaborating with creative team members to determine the conceptual and copy direction of our branding, advertising and marketing initiatives.
What will you do:
- Act as the sole or lead copywriter on projects spanning various parts of the ChemiCloud organization. You'll be responsible for everything from landing pages to ad campaigns to product-naming.
- Generate original copy ideas that grab the attention of the target audience using a variety of channels.
- Be able to understand our audience and write in consistent voice and style to engage them.
- Understand strategy and be an active participant in ensuring the integrity of project strategy is maintained throughout the creative process.
- Create and lead copy process to support all functional teams as well as translation process.
- Find innovative new ways to tell the Chemicloud story.
Ideal candidates must have:
- 2+ years of experience as a copywriter with interactive/ad agencies, design studios, production or Internet companies.
- Must be able to demonstrate effective time management - handle and prioritize multiple projects regardless of the inevitable changing scope, timelines, goals, deliverable, etc.
- A thorough understanding of copy fundamentals for product design and marketing.
- Exceptional writing skills, including the ability to write in a range of voices and styles for a variety of projects with diverse audiences.
- Strong online portfolio/reel demonstrating experience creating compelling concepts, and finished projects with a high degree of sophistication and polish. Please attach samples as a cover letter OR provide a link to your online portfolio.
- Ability to foster strong working relationships with team members and cross-functional partners.
- Able to manage multiple tasks in a deadline-driven environment.
- Understand and respond to customer data, steering the strategy of future creative directions.
- Demonstrated ability to communicate and collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams.
- Degree in English, Communications, or related experience.
- Tech/Agency experience a definite plus.
