Description

  • As product manager for transparency services, your principle role will be to develop the services to support our clients to meet their obligation under the upcoming MiFID II transparency regime.
  • Your primary role will be to develop the services for Non-Equity products such as Bonds, FI Derivatives, FX, Equity Derivatives. This involves close cooperation with IT and Business Analysts to ensure requirements are accurately reflected in business requirement documents. A strong understanding of the SDLC is also required.
  • You will need to be an expert in most of these asset classes, as well as have a strong understanding of the pre- and post-trade workflows in these assets. You will need to understand the MiFID II regulation and its implication.
  • You will represent the firm at various client working groups and industry forums as well as coordinating and developing the company's industry working groups in the transparency space.
    You will need to identify new opportunities to enhance and develop services to support the strategy of the group, and to bring value to clients to manage their reporting and transparency obligation more efficiently.
  • You will act in partnership with the Head of Transparency Services to develop strong business cases around new pre- and post-trade transparency services. This will mean being able to articulate to senior management the added value that will be delivered to clients, and how it will enhance the product going forward.
  • You will need to monitor and identify market developments, competition and regulatory changes. You will articulate what are the implications of those micro and macro market changes and what opportunities they can potentially bring for the company in the post-trade space

Requirements:

- 5 years' experience in the financial industry, with some experience in a product management role or equivalent.
- Previous roles with a strong understanding of Bonds, FI Derivatives, FX, Equity Derivatives and the challenges in the pre and post-trade arena.
- Knowledge of the Derivatives market, with particular knowledge around execution and post execution is a strong plus.
- Must have strong existing relationships with the dealer community, and be equipped to articulate that community's major concerns, business requirements and strategic initiatives as related to post-trade environment.
- Recent experience and current knowledge of regulatory changes and upcoming market structure changes.
