Procurement (partner) Manager (Vendor & Relationships within Application Development Services)
Our customer is currently looking for a Procurement (partner) Manager to join the Nordic IT team to be based in Helsinki. You will be contracting with their service providers and contractors. Stakeholders are located in Sweden, Finland, Belgium and India.
Most of the IT maintenance and development is outsourced to offshore providers. You will be responsible for all aspects of Statements of Work with an outsourcing component.
Your responsibilities
As Procurement Manager your tasks will include:
Responsible for creating, negotiating, operation and evaluation of Statements of work with an outsourcing component
- Responsible for managing and improving Partner performance
- Involved in the definition of outsourced project SLAs and responsible for ensuring their enforcement
- Responsible for exploratory activities with the Partner to determine how to raise performance levels during the contract life cycle
- For most IT maintenance and development we work with Fixed Price agreements
- Manage contracts: signatures, financial registration and follow up, physical and virtual storage, distribution, initiate reviewing
- Act as an ambassador for outsourcing for client .
- Responsible for providing memo's and reports to Audit, Risk, and other relevant departments
- Responsible for providing timely and accurate enterprise level management information to management and the team
- Contribute to Partner selection when appropriate
- Flexible to travel if necessary
Your profile
As a successful candidate you should have
- A minimum of 5 years of relevant experience
- Previous experience creating, negotiating and operating Application Development/Testing and Maintenance IT Services, outsourcing contracts and managing relationships with offshoring vendors
- Excellent communication, negotiation and relationship building skills Fluency in written and spoken English and Finnish is required.
- Strong negotiation skills
- Must be detail oriented, numerically accurate and committed to quality
- Flexible attitude and ability to perform under pressure. You are a team player, organized, and self-starting University or higher vocational degree
- Experience from working with offshore services and providers
