Data Migration Manager
Experience in data migration projects in essential - candidates without an extensive amount will not be considered.
- Highly prefer candidates that have experience in running a migration project
- Ability to do business in Spanish is a huge benefit
Duties:
- Taking overall migration project responsibility in one or multiple counties,
- Taking our clients responsibility of the migration approach
- Supporting migration analysts and developers with the progress
- Reporting to internally and externally of the progress
We are looking for
Project management experience in the telecom environment, either on operator or software vendor's sideA good understanding of business requirements, both functional and non-functional and an organized, analytical approach to problem-solving
Broad business and technical knowledge, as well as dedicated skills in at least one of the following areas: business processes, service orientation, enterprise architecture or product management
Experience with enterprise systems like CRM, billing and order management with an understanding of the data flows between the systems during different customer phases
Previous experience in data migration projects
Excellent communication, presentation and client-facing skills in Spanish/English.
Requirements
- Previous project management experience in complex, large scale telco projects with SI activity would be a bonus.
- Ability to convey project dependencies to other project managers
- Experience with business support system (BSS) domain on both B2B and B2C
- Readiness to travel often, on short notice, and for extended periods of time
- Motivation to learn and improve
- Self-managing, systematic working style, hands on & can do attitude
- Ability to work across cultural and organizational boundaries, and operate successfully in an intense business environment
- Ability to work with customers, internal business unit organizations, and third party vendors
- Strong negotiation/influencing skills
- Ability to work under pressure dealing with demanding customers and/or situations
- Ability to provide concise and clear, written and verbal reports.
Must have BSS Technical experience, at a hands on level, and familiarity with telecommunication operations and delivery.
Location: Central and South Americas
