Job Description

We are in the process of building a highly interactive real-time HTML5 dashboard. To this end, we are looking to hire a creative UI/UX designer for the 4-month project.

There will be two phases: Phase 0 (3-4 weeks) and Phase 1 (~12 weeks).

Phase 0 will require creating a prototype which will probably be more static in nature. Phase 1 (3 months) will be focused on delivering a fully-functional web portal.

The designer will work closely with the front-end engineers and rest of the team.

Requirements

  • The designer should be able to make mockups of multiple versions of a web page, which includes a header/footer, charts, navigation bar, possibly pop-ups, login/logout.
  • He/she should be able to create a highly visually appealing web portal with manoeuvrable elements and a customizable dashboard.
  • CSS
  • HTML5
  • java
  • D3 experience a plus


Designers should be based in the SF Bay area in order to be able to work with the rest of the team at the office when needed.
