Description
*Embedded Software Developer for control I/Os - ATMEL/ARM-based*
*5 months+, based in Belgium, must be bilingual - English & Dutch written/spoken*
*Degree: MSc (+5yrs) or Bachelor (+7yrs) in Computer/Electronics Engineering*
The successful candidate will be professional, extrovert, a team-player, and have the ability to deliver professional documentation in English and Dutch.
Job Brief:
* development using C/C++
* RT, multi-threading awareness while developing the application
* Linux OS knowledge (example: Ubuntu, Fedora, buildroot)
* hands on experience with ARM-based ATMEL processing devices - drivers/build environment
* hands on experience with FPGA based micro-blaze processors (Xilinx soft cores, EDK)
* some hands-on knowledge of .NET 4.x is a plus (support tools, Front End testing)
* affinity/interest wrt. equipment/technology in general, motor control, sensor output manipulations, integration, overview on a system level
* overall knowledge wrt. electronics, digital(/analogue) I/O, reading component specs
* the ability to measure what you have programmed (scope, dig. measuring device)
