Description
In response to increasing regulatory client led demand (IFRS9/IFRS15/IFRS16) we require experienced Aptitude Technical Consultants to take part in various projects USA wide. You will be a senior member of the consultancy team who is capable of taking a lead role within a project. The successful candidate will be working on a variety of projects located on client sites across Financial Services, Telecoms and Healthcare sectors.
Main duties
- Experience the full project life cycle and the management of a technical team
- Gain full understanding of the project requirements with the capability to assess, report and recommend risk mitigation
- Perform Aptitude Software product installations
- Create database objects to represent business events
- Write Business Processes/Business Rules
- Set up target definitions to match GL and warehouse requirements
- Enforce best technical practices
- Set-up development, test and production environments
- Manage the process of migrating product related objects from one environment to another
- Perform performance analysis and tuning of the processes and database objects
- Mentoring and knowledge transfer to customer staff
- Develop custom enrichment procedures if required
- Liaise with client DBA's on database/UNIX settings
- Perform handover, transfer of knowledge to client technical development and/or production support staff
The ideal candidate will have the following skills & experience:
- An exceptional track record on large and complex enterprise wide implementations
- Proven experience with a consulting led environment.
- Demonstrable experience of working in an application development role within a project team environment
- Experience installing or configuring Aptitude Software
- Experience in Data Warehouses/Reporting Data Marts an advantage
- Experience of designing Financial Systems/General Ledger Projects
- Technical bias with business awareness.
- DBA/Database skills: Oracle, DB2, Teradata, SQL Server
