Big Data Developer - 6-18 Months Dublin.
My client a leading global institution is in urgent need of a talented and experienced Big data software developer to join their group on a contract basis for 6-18 months.
This role would sit in the Dublin Credit Risk Technology team is part of an international development group responsible for some of the most significant projects in the bank. My clients team work directly with their internal Business Partners to build and enhance reporting platforms critical to the Bank's control functions and to its decision making. They work in agile fashion and are organised flexibly.
This role will encompasses the full development life cycle. You will be helping to Radically restructure and simplify their existing platforms, you will also Implement controls to ensure quality of critical data and will be abstract and open ended business and technical requirements into deliverables. You will interact with technology and business groups on a daily basis. My client will be using eleastic search to compute this data.
The Key skills my client is looking for you to be Proficient Python/Java/C#/C++/Ruby/Scala, you should be Proficient SQL. Candidates will have Experience of, or serious interest in, Big Data technologies (Hadoop/Spark/MapR etc)
