Your Mission

The IT Operations Support Group is responsible for all Network, Telecommunications, Infrastructure, Systems, and Support services globally. This group of highly skilled and technical individuals play a vital role in ensuring business success through product and service management, provisioning, and uptime of these vital services.

The Network Administrator is a global position responsible for the implementation of core network systems across the enterprise ensuring that existing technical solutions are working fine to maintain stability, network performance and availability within both the office and data center locations. This role involves a high level of collaboration with other technical staff.

What you'll do

  • Network production changes and peer review changes
  • Troubleshooting any network related issues that may arise, work with vendors where required
  • Technically support development based projects, offering assistance and recommendations where required
  • Implementation of new networks and upgrades.
  • Maintain detailed network documentation.
  • Implementation of tools and process to proactively monitor network availability, performance, and security.
  • Stay on top of network technology advancements to provide recommendations for the ongoing improvements to our networks.

What you'll bring

  • Extensive experience as network engineer.
  • Operating knowledge of common LAN and WAN technologies.
  • Operating knowledge of IP and associated layer-4 protocols.
  • Operating knowledge of Cisco IOS and NX-OS command line interfaces, Cisco Catalyst and Nexus switching platforms
  • Experience with Cisco ISR and ASR Routers, common routing protocols (BGP and EIGRP)
  • Operating knowledge of Cisco FWSM and ASA security appliances
  • Experience as a network administrator in a multi-location Cisco-oriented LAN and WAN.
  • Experience with load balancing technology, specifically F5 BigIP LTM
  • Operational familiarity with common network management tools (Cacti, OpenNMS, Cisco Prime, Nagios)
  • Experience with VPN and remote access solutions
  • Familiarity with Cisco ACS and WLC an asset
