Proteus Europe is searching for a Bigdata/ETL Developer for a 6 month contract role based in London, UK.Our Client :-

Your Skills and experience :-
Essential Skills :-
- Bachelors Degree (or higher) in Computer Information Systems, or a related field
- 3+ years of consulting or support projects. (Must have excellent communication skills with an ability to present complex technical solutions.)
- The RHEL family of Linux distributions (primarily CentOS)
- Must have working knowledge of Hadoop framework and ecosystem, or be able to very quickly come up to speed on these
- Some experience working with Distributed Data Processing platforms and/or technologies
- Bash / Python Scripting
- Outstanding problem solving, interpersonal, oral and written communication, and presentation skills
- Working Knowledge of Natural Language Processing and/or Text Analytics
- Experience using Elastic search
- Experience with configuration tools like Salt, Puppet or Chef
- Enterprise Systems Experience
- Hadoop: HDFS, MapReduce (primarily CDH)
- NoSQL databases: HBase, Cassandra, Accumulo
- Amazons EC2 (EC2, S3, EMR, Route53, IAM, CloudFormation, RDS, and more)
- REST API consumption
- Distributed version control systems (Subversion, Mercurial, Git)
- Experience with Jetty web containers
- Financial or Compliance Services Experience
