Business Analyst - Funds/Derivatives

Our client, is a well-established financial service provider, with multiple offices across the country, and over 2,000 employees. An ambitious, fast paced forward thinking company with a dynamic business.

They require a Business Analyst, based in Dublin, with expert knowledge of the financial industry, as well as standards, methodologies, processes, systems and technology necessary to support Financial Services operations.

Initially on a 6-month contract with a possibility of extension, analysing complex business requirements and providing solutions for operating models.

Working as the lead business analyst for all areas of investment management and fund accounting operations you will:

  • Conduct changes requests, throughout the life cycle of derivatives servicing.
  • Facilitate new products and improvements for clients.
  • Analyze the requirements of the client, looking to see if there is a solution within the parameters of the systems etc.
  • Oversee process improvements and run with the change requests.
  • Responsible for the acquisition, analysis and dissemination of subject matter knowledge.
  • Prepares weekly management information statistics.

What are the key qualifications for this role?

  • Excellent Product knowledge of OTC Derivatives - Process flows, Derivative trade processes.
  • Strong Client management and Analytical skills.
  • Degree educated in a related field, Masters preferred.
  • Expert knowledge of the Financial Services industry.
  • Excellent understanding of standards, methodologies, processes, systems and technology necessary to support Financial Services operations.
  • Know-how writing business specifications and data mapping.
  • Excellent writing, communication and presentation skills.
  • VISIO skills is an advantage.
