Description
A global Biopharmaceutical leader is currently looking for a Process Safety Engineer to join their team on a new build project based in South of Ireland.The responsibilities of the Process Safety Engineer will include:
- Comply at all times with the Health, Safety and Environmental policy and associated procedures.
- Continuously promote a positive safety culture by challenging yourself and others to prioritise safety in everything you do.
- Propose, develop & implement improvements and modifications from a process safety perspective to process areas and equipment in order to improve operations.
- Review & approve documentation including User Requirement Specifications, Functional Specifications etc. ensuring it compiles with H&S and engineering legislation.
- Oversee project equipment and processes to ensure Safety is built in line with the design.
- Qualified to a minimum of higher degree level in engineering or related discipline.
- Minimum 5 year's safety engineering experience preferably within a relevant Pharma Environment.
- Equipment Safety design Experience.
- Knowledge of ATEX requirements.
