Tangent International are urgently looking for a EHS Engineer to work a 3 month extendable contract based in Leeds/Wakefield
Description
Reporting to the Project Health & Safety Manager the EHS Engineer is responsible for implementing and advising on Health & Safety on a street works fibre installation project in multiple locations within Yorkshire. The role works with the project internal team, customers and partners to ensure HSE Requirements are fully met and to drive continual improvement on the project.

Leeds/Wakefield area
Responsibilities
- Ensuring legislative, contractual and client H&S requirements are understood and implemented on the project.
- Implementing the Construction Phase Health & Safety Plan.
- Conducting in progress and on-site Health & Safety Audits
- Investigating incidents and accidents
- Attend meetings as required
- Guiding partners in carrying out site auditing and issuing audit reports
- Support the H&S Manager as required.
Qualifications & Experience
- NEBOSH General Certificate
- NRWSA Card
- Experience of CDM 2015
- Experience in a similar role or as an H&S Auditor working in street works and traffic management
- Technician Member of IOSH or equivalent
