Security Cleared Cognos Consultant - 2 Weeks - Essex - £Market Rate
I am currently recruiting for a Cognos Consultant for my client based in Essex to help provide full support, development and administration of Cognos Enterprise Planning (Financial modelling system),Cognos BI Suite and data warehouse.
The SC Cognos technologies are:
- IBM Cognos BI Analytics 10.1
- IBM Cognos Planning 10.1
- IBM Cognos Contributor 10.1
- SQL Server 2008
The Security Checked Cognos Consultant will be working on:
- Converting functional business requirements into technical solutions
- Full project development life cycle
- System design and BI Planning application specification, development and improvement
- Upgrades, configuration, migration, applying fix packs and administration of Cognos BI and Planning software/Servers.
- Assist and Advise best practices for creating and maintaining report schedules and Event Studio events
- Testing and optimising the execution times of reports, cubes,
- SSIS packages, Enterprise Planning macros
- TSQL queries
- Able to use the following Cognos Toolset:
- Cognos Connection Administration - set up integrated portal containing scheduled queries, reports/cubes
- Query Studio - for simple queries
- Analysis Studio - for multidimensional reporting requirements
- Multidimensional OLAP tool
- Data Warehousing and Business Intelligence concepts from analysis through to BI delivery
