Business Analysts - (Legal) - London - - £450 per day - 6 Months renewable - Immediate startOne of Talent Internationals leading clients are urgently recruiting for a number of Business Analysts to join the existing team based in London as soon as possible.
You must be able to undertake consultations, interviews, and workshops with diverse stakeholder groups
Examine existing and new operational processes; and align them to standardize global processes within business areas.
Investigation of defects and pain points and analyse possible issues with stakeholders
Update and creation of requirements documents and 'to-be' process flows
To write, own and follow-up options papers with documented business decisions. To write/update functional requirements documents and complete set-up configuration output in readiness for review and approval.
Analyse customer requirements providing clear, concise and objective analysis
Document customer requirements and customisation requirements in the format and using the terminology laid down by the programme
Propose, document and analyse business processes designs; identify alternative solutions, assess feasibility and recommend approaches.
Support the system design and system configuration exercises
Support the data cleaning, data readiness and data conversion exercises.
Proven background liaising between technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Review of test scenarios and development and maintenance of test scripts (functional, data, security, reporting, integration etc.).
Triage defects raised during testing against requirements and provide Root Cause Analysis and recommendations for pragmatic resolution within tight time frames and programme milestones.
Support and collect feedback from users during UAT exercises, confirmation sessions.
Write system documentation and support the end user training development and delivery during go-live/early life support.
Key requirements
Knowledge of Practice Management, Finance, Risk and Compliance business processes. Proven exposure of at least one area is required including the ability to comprehend and interpret financial terminology.
Experience of User Stories
Experience in large law firms an advantage including direct engagement with international stakeholders
Experience of working on large transformation projects
Experience of digital projects
Experience of working within a fast moving, complex, international programmes
Experience of working with Elite 3E (including IDE), Intapp Open, Intapp Integrate, ChromeRiver, Intapp Time or similar applications experience highly desirable.
Strong experience of working as part of data, integration or testing team.
Must have a proven experience in leading a multifunctional project teams
Expert user of MS Visio and MS Office. Skills in MS Project, JIRA and BA tools such as requirements traceability tools, testing tools highly desirable.
Must be fluent English, both written and spoken. Additional languages preferred.
Strong background in Systems Analysis or Business Analysis.
Strong data analysis, data mapping, BI and operational reporting skills an advantage.
Strong proven experience of generation and collation of project documentation both from template and designing own formats where there are gaps.
Experience of parachuting into similar roles part way through the programme through the delivery and being part of service transition, release, cut over and early life support is desirable
