We are currently recruiting for our client, a worldwide, leading consultancy company focusing on Management, IT Consulting, Technology Services and Outsourcing, to support their project in Poland.

Position Title: HVDC Software engineer
Position Type: Contract
Start Date: December 2017
Duration: 6 months rolling
Location: Stafford, UK

Description:
- Degree Qualified in an Engineering Discipline ideally with a software content or equivalent knowledge.
- Experience of SCRUM Agile software developments.
- Experience in tools such as JIRA, Confluence and Microsoft Project Knowledge and experience in Agile development practices (e.g. Scrum).
- Knowledge and experience in safety critical and/or control system software development practices (e.g. IEC 61508, IEC 62304, IEC 61850).
- Knowledge of HVDC.
- Programing languages:
-- C, C++, Object Pascal, VxWorks V5.5, V6.8 and V7.0.
- Protocols:
-- IEC-104, Profibus, IEC-61850.
