Reconciliation Analyst (Balance Sheet team)

An opportunity exists for an experienced reconciliation analyst to join the Belfast Balance Sheet team, providing support to the Global Process Owner for Balance Sheet Substantiation. The successful candidate will be performing month-end balance validation processes for bank cash accounts across the UK and EMEA.
Key responsibilities will include building reconciliation processes for new accounts, ensuring smooth operation of monthly validation and reporting processes, and assisting the management team with business analysis and research projects.
Experience/Competencies:
Understanding of accounting process flows
Demonstrable experience in a book keeping/accountancy/financial control environment
Proficiency with MS Excel is essential
Understanding of basic project management disciplines, particularly process mapping and time management
Good interpersonal skills, able to communicate effectively with all levels of staff
Self-motivated, with strong organisational skills
Able to consistently work to exacting standards of accuracy
Qualifications: Accountancy qualification preferred
