Proteus Europe is searching for a Bilingual French and Dutch speaking Telecom Operations Support Engineer for a 12 month contract + likely extension, based in Brussels, Beligum.Our Client :-
Our client is an international consultancy with a reputation for delivering on projects with their consultancy customers. You will join and be part of their team to ensure this current project is a complete success.
Your New role :-
Telecom Operations Support plays a key role in managing train safety and punctuality by ensuring the high availability of our customers telecom infrastructure. You are the guarantor of the execution of all the tasks of follow-up of incidents related to telecommunications.
- You follow the various monitoring tools on the telecommunications infrastructures of our client;
- You participate actively in the safety (safety) and punctuality of rail traffic by analyzing the events observed on telecom infrastructures in order to initiate their fastest resolution;
- You analyze the events occurring on different telecom technologies to determine the cause and induce their rapid resolution;
- You support users of telecom infrastructures by translating their difficulties into actions on infrastructure in applications;
- Coordinate telecom infrastructure incidents in conjunction with Customer Service Operation Desk Operators;
- You are the preferred point of contact for local technicians and client competence centers;
- You keep abreast of the situation on IT or telecommunications infrastructure that has a direct impact on train traffic;
- You offer support to users of the telecom infrastructure;
- Provide feedback on important incidents;
- Coordinate the execution of scheduled jobs.
