Application Support Specialist
12-18 month contract
Dublin City Centre
Experience required:
- Third level qualification desirable
- 2-3 years' experience is essential
- Thorough understanding of Windows Operating Systems
- Software implementation, trouble-shooting and application management skills -Change Control & Technical documentation
- Scripting (PowerShell)
- Business Continuity - Site Switches for business-critical applications
- Incident Management
- Middleware Application Server software including WebSphere/WebLogic, IIS, Tomcat experience is desirable
- Networking knowledge desirable
- Performance monitoring and tuning
Desirable Skills:
- Basic SQL skills
- Certifications (Microsoft, ITIL, Lean Six Sigma, CMMI, PMI/PRINCE 2)
- Experience and understanding of the following system architecture: Click, MV90,
- Intergraph G/Technologies
- Experience installing, configuring, validating, and tuning applications and interfaces
- Experience installing, configuring, and tuning analogic modems
- Understanding of RDBMS installations especially client tools
- Microsoft SQL Server and Oracle Databases
- Experience with mobile technologies
