Media Planning & Presentation Supervisor

My client, a household name broadcasting house are currently seeking an experience Media Planning Supervisor to join them on a contract basis. The role will oversee the smooth running of the presentation team across the channels, and ensure that schedules are completed to agreed standards.

Role & Responsibilities

*Create and develop media plans using on-air, non-linear and digital inventory and techniques against Company objectives and programming initiatives
*Responsible for day-to-day campaign administration, ratings tracking and the maintenance of campaigns against on-air media plans, the makelist, and creative briefs
*Conduct post-campaign analysis and present results within the organisation by written reports and other means
*Attend all programming meetings pertaining to long term scheduling of the Channels and maintaining direct communication with programming planning, presentation and on-air teams to implement all planning strategies
*Strategically plan and manage the allocation of promotional airtime.
*Responsible for laying down weekly/monthly media plans and managing campaign planners
*Provide day-to-day analytical support to Senior Manager, Media Planning and Presentation for on-air campaigns, airtime sales commitments and brand marketing support
*Write and update the Media Planning component of the Creative briefs
*Develop campaign strategies to launch, grow and sustain new programming initiatives, series launches and franchise development. Monitor competitor campaigns and technological developments and communicate to wider teams

Candidate Specification

*Substantial, proven experience within Media Planning, ideally focused on the UK market
*Experience of developing campaign strategies
*Knowledge of on air scheduling and commercial trafficking systems ie Vision
*Knowledge of file delivery systems ie Adstream, IMD
*Knowledge of Ofcom regulations
*Experience in on-air promotions and media planning
*Good communication skills & interact well with stakeholders and teams
*Pragmatic, problem solver
*Capable of working under pressure and to tight deadlines
