Proteus Europe is searching for a Dutch speaking Xamarin Forms Developer to join a client part time for 6 months. The role will be based in Brussels, Belgium.Our Client :-
The Ministry of the Flemish Community (MVG) was from January 1, 1983 to January 1, 2006 the official organization of the Government of Flanders, where the Flemish Government policy is implemented. The ministry was divided into departments were headed by a Secretary-General. The departments knew another subdivision in administrations. The administrations were led by a Director General.
Your New role :-
The Xamarin Forms developer is deployed 3 days a week at the Agency for Nature and Forest for the following tasks:
- Building in Xamarin Forms of a mobile application on Android for consulting and editing planned and planned nature management works from the backend and registering nature management works
- Build the necessary backend services for data synchronization
- Building a card functionality that can work offline, o.a.
- Offline maps, both central layers and local files, must be able to be switched on / off.
- Can select existing geometry
- Determine your own geometry by walking in on the spot (using GPS tracking)
- Drafting a product backlog
In order to be able to test the requested experience, the link is delivered to the relevant app store or screenshots are delivered if it concerns paying apps or company apps.
Your Skills and Qualifications :-
Essential Skills :-
For this you have the following demonstrable knowledge of Xamarin:
This is demonstrated by being in possession of a certificate from Xamarin Certified Mobile Developer and/or at least 2 apps with Xamarin Forms developed and/or multiple mobile maps developed (with eg Xamarin) and knowledge of Xamarin Forms demonstrable via a technical screening.
- Very good oral and written knowledge of Dutch
- Demonstrable knowledge with Xamarin.forms mobile development (preferably Android environment)
- Proven experience with GIS for mobile apps
- Knowledge and experience with Visual Studio is a plus
- Plus: knowledge and experience with C #
- Plus: Knowledge and experience with ASP.NET Web API
- Plus: Knowledge and experience with Entity Framework
- Plus: Knowledge and experience with MVVM pattern
- Plus: Knowledge and experience with SQLite database engine
- Plus: Knowledge and experience with UML
- Demonstrable knowledge of Xamarin Forms mobile development (Android): provide a link to the relevant app store or provide screenshots if it concerns paying apps or company apps + other supporting documents or justification
- Proven experience with GIS for mobile apps: providing a link to the relevant app store or delivering screenshots if it concerns paying apps or business apps
- Plus: Knowledge and experience with UX Design (Patterns)
Desirable Skills :-
- OAUTH 2.0 Protocol
- Code Versioning (eg github)
- Issue Management tools (eg Jira).
- Agile Operation
