Senior Software Engineer, full stack with a Front End focus. A unique opportunity to be at the tip of the spear of a digital transformation.
The Role

You will be working as a Senior Software Engineer in a newly created and innovative unit. With relative freedom to define and extend the current code base with React.JS, TypeSript, HTML5, SCSS, WebPack, Bootstrap, SASS, etc. My client is looking for a developer with the above mentioned technical knowledge in combination with strong organizational and people skills and more than a passing interest in being disruptive.
Your responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
Develop high quality, scalable and readable code, fast
Play a leading role in hackathons and rapid, agile builds
Rapidly iterate and evolve solutions from a blank whiteboard to a revenue stream Work collaboratively to form and grow the small, elite development team
Communicate regularly and effectively with selected stakeholders, identifying creative solutions to problems to maximise value.

Knowledge & Skills:
* Expert in Object-Oriented Javascript
* Extensive knowledge of frameworks such as React.JS, Backbone, jQuery, etc.. Experience developing single page applications that scale
* Follows software engineering principles, patterns, frameworks and technologies. Strong CSS (Compass/SASS) and HTML5 skills
* Usage of JSON REST APIs
* Knowledge of Jasmine and Cucumber is a plus
* Proven experience in leading and managing the delivery of prototype, lean builds through to. Dicstinct understanding and passion for Agile/Scrum scale
. Excellent personal organization and ability to prioritize and carry out multiple tasks. Comfortable to work independently
* Must work effectively in a dynamic development environment within different countries. A thirst for working with leading edge technologies and developer communities
Good to have:
. Elastic Beanstalk/Lambda AWS services.. Experience with machine learning.
