Test Engineer - Prague Based
We are looking for highly skilled test engineer to join our IT centre in Prague and help us to support functional and technical test (from Integration Test till the implementation in Production) of our Post Trade systems. Our requirements in terms of complex functionality, high reliability and availability will thoroughly challenge your testing skills and provide ample opportunities for continuous improvement.
We are offering a position to candidates with the following qualifications and experience:
University degree in Information Technology
Technical skills in the following domains are essential:
- Linux (RedHat) operating system
o Expert skills as user (ksh scripting, etc.)
o Basic skills as System Administrator
- Good knowledge of JBOSS or Weblogic
- Good knowledge of SQL
- Windows OS basic skills (start/stop/monitor of services, powershell, administration)
Additional skills in one or more of the following areas will be of advantage:
- Oracle Database Administration knowledge
- Perl, Java, PL-SQL
- Knowledge of batch scheduler UC4

Tasks:
Installation of application software in test environment
Monitor and process Clearstream Business Day in slow motion
Support development and business in issues investigation
Log and follow-up technical issues and liaise with Dev. and Infrastructure Departments
Support production people during roll-out in Production
Provide clear, regular and consistent reporting to other members of the team
Identify process improvements, tasks automation, testing tools development
