The Fund Platform business is attached to the structured derivative product businesses, and includes Retail and Institutional vehicles domiciled in Ireland and Luxembourg.The successful candidate will sit on the Desk as a representative of the Legal Department, and be expected to deal with Legal and Compliance matters relating to the establishment of new and maintenance of existing Funds. The role will require a candidate who is familiar with regulations including AIFMD, UCIITs and MIFID II.The successful candidate will also need experience of dealing with External Counsel to the Fund, Administrators & Custodians, Independent Fund Directors, Independent Management Companies, other Fund Service ProvidersEssential skills:• Qualified lawyer with experience in investment Funds; • Sound knowledge of the legal and regulatory framework around investment Funds (AIFMD, UCIITs, MIFID II etc.); • Experience closing transactions; • Highly organized and extremely detail oriented; Desirable skills: • Experience of ISDA Documentation• Knowledge of retail structured products and surrounding regulation (PRIIPs, MiFID II, RDR); • Experience dealing with OTC or securities transactions in hybrid or other asset classes (e.g. Equity)
