Trade Surveillance Analyst - Tier-1 Investment Bank
A Tier-1 Global Bank is looking for a Trade Surveillance Analyst to join their growing Surveillance team within Trade and Control Room Surveillance.
Responsibilities:
- Conducting daily analysis of automated surveillance alerts
- Identify and escalate potential breaches of regulatory rules
- Assist to define criteria and help create models utilizing business and statistical concepts for logic functionality
- Assist with designing and developing complex surveillance models
- Assisting with the development, drafting and integration of processes and procedures
- Liaise regularly with other Compliance and Risk areas, including the other Global Surveillance functions, Product Compliance and other areas as required
Skills:
- Familiarity with diverse product types - Eg: Fixed Income, Equities, Derivatives, etc.
- Good understanding of the Control room
- Good communication skills, ability to interact and work with key stakeholders
- Working knowledge of using mainstream Surveillance systems preferred, eg Actimize, SMARTS
