An exciting opportunity has opened for a Development Engineer to join a reputable client of mine based in Cork, Ireland

Responsibilities
- To develop and support configuration stations that are used in Manufacturing, with the development team.
- Owning a station or stations: being responsible for there on schedule delivery, that they meet desired cycle time, with acceptable retry and fail rates.
- Helping to debug issues with stations and drive resolution of same. This would involve working with other teams, eg Hardware, OS, BootROM, etc.
- Development of station software, mainly in Objective C.
Technology Skills Needed
- Object Oriented Design
- C, C++, Objective C
- Experience debugging complex applications (eg using GDB)
- Unix
- XML, JSON
