Professional Services Senior Buyer/Procurement Specialist - London - Contract
My client, a leading bank, is looking for a Senior Buyer/Procurement Specialist to join their London office. The successful candidate will have previous experience within Professional Services Procurement within a banking environment.
Responsibilities:
- Manager of the Professional Services Desk - Team of 3
- Contractual documentation (commercial review) and contributing to the optimisation of Consultancy cost base by delivering savings
- Management process of the sourcing and on-boarding of consultants and professional services
- Negotiate day rates and fixed cost engagements, striving to achieve best price and capture and record these Procurement savings in the relevant KPI tool
- Handling the full contract negotiation with both PSL and Non-PSL Suppliers
Essential Experience:
- Must have Professional Services Procurement experience
- Must have Banking experience
- Management/Team Lead experience
- Solid Excel skills, previous reporting experience
Location: Central London
Contract: Initially 6 months
Day Rate: Up to £400/Day
