AIX IT System Programmer/Administrator - Denmark - Montreal Associates

Montreal Associates is looking for an AIX IT System Programmer/Administrator for a client based in Denmark.

Location: Copenhagen, Denmark

Start Date:

Duration/length: 24 months

Skillset:

  • Strong AIX Administration skills with experience within Series HW Mgmt.
  • NFS
  • TCP/IP Networking
  • SAN storage
  • Shell Scripting (Korn and/or Perl)
  • VIO management and administration
  • HMC management
  • Operating systems (Linux, Windows)
  • Experience with Analysis and tuning of IBM P Series Servers.
  • Installation & Upgrade of Fixes/Patches/APARs (Authorized Programming Analysis Report)/TL
  • Experience on hardware and software configuration, LPARs/DLPARs/VIOs
  • Experience on Dual VIOs along with Partitions created using NPIV
  • Experience on HACMP (clustering).
  • Experience with OS storage (SAN) configuration. Unix Shell Scripting (Korn and/or Perl)
  • Good understanding of
  • IBM software (WAS, DB2, MQ, etc.)
  • Infrastructure & network communication
  • General knowledge of IBM Mainframe
  • Production support, including problem analysis and resolution.
  • System Security, integration of NSF and PCI DSS 3.3 standard - including maintain system according to best pratice (tech spec), track security issues/fixes.
  • Perform quarterly Health Checks of systems.
  • Capacity Reporting.
  • Support Middleware Installation (WebSphere, MQ, DB2)
  • SNA communication Servers configuration (IBM COMMUNICATIONS SERVER FOR AIX )
  • Install and maintain backup clients
  • Contribute to DR plan and participate in DR test
